PHI Centre – The starting point for the 2013 Rallye des galeries artsScène

The PHI Center is an artistic, creative and high-tech space that opened its doors nearly a year ago. Philanthropist Phoebe Greenberg and the centre’s authors wished to transform a historic building in Old Montreal built by John Ogilvy in 1861 into a specimen of innovative architecture, responsible construction and underlying connectivity, adaptability and acoustics. The team also strove to make the centre an international cultural reference. The intelligent design that has resulted means rooms and spaces are forever adapting to the users’ needs and creativity’s call. From creation and production studios, to common spaces, this multipurpose centre allows arts, all arts, to be explored and expressed. The PHI Center is fundamentally a space for exchanging, learning, discovery, launching, filming, recording, and the list goes on. It is a single space for art in all its forms. http://phi-centre.com
